Air curtains are an energy-saving solution for rooms where the entry door has to stay open permanently e.g. in factories and shops. They provide a screen between the cold outside air and the heated inside air. The loss of heat is minimal and drafts from opening doors are prevented.
An air curtain can be installed in any setting, irrespective of the height or fixture (built-in or built-up): they always provide the required flow.
Model G5 : warm air curtain
Air curtains are frequently used above store doors. Store managers like to leave their doors open throughout the day, particularly in shopping streets. The heating cannot cope with the large volume of cold air flowing in from the outside. Air curtains duo are often used above high store doors or industrial gates. The air curtain duo creates a barrier by means of 2 separate conditioned air flows (cold and warm air). The cold air flow draws the warm stream down, allowing the air curtain to be suspended at a height of up to 3,8 m.
Model G7 : industrial air curtain
The industrial air curtains are designed for mounting above sliding doors, sectional gates, etc. Loading and unloading can proceed smoothly without having to worry about energy loss. Depending on the type chosen Verco industrial air curtains can be mounted horizontally above or vertically next to the gate.
They are fitted by energy conscious businesses who want to load and unload without the business premises cooling down because of open gates, the resulting cost savings will appeal to every company manager.
